“Dwarf Beauty King” originated from a cross between Dwarf Wild Fred (an F4 selection) and Beauty King (from Wild Boar Farm) by Vince Lavallo in 2011, which he named Beauty. Dwarf Beauty King was selected and named in 2013 by Vince. Dwarf Beauty King is a regular leaf dwarf producing lots of medium sized oblate smooth red fruit with vertical gold striping – truly beautiful – and with a rich, balanced flavor. Those involved with its development are Vince Lavalle, Craig, Bill Yoder, Kay Robbins, and Susan Oliverson.

Germination: 6-10 days
Maturity: 80-85 days
Start indoors 6 weeks before the last frost. Plant 1/4" deep in seed starting mix. Requires soil temperatures of 75-85F to germinate. Heating mat is recommended. Keep soil moist.
Harden off and transplant in full sun when all danger of frost has passed. Bury deep, planting the entire stem leaving only top leaves above ground.
Space plants 2-3' apart; space rows 3-4' apart.
