Description
A short indeterminate heirloom from a region 50 miles south of Moscow. (Zarnitsa translates as “Summer Lightning.”) A very early and prolific variety that produces red, 2 1/2 to 3- inch tomatoes. Disease and crack resistant. Delicious, sweet, buttery and juicy. One of the best early varieties. A good choice for cooler growing regions. Shows good disease resistance.
